The first noticeable difference between The Studio 56 and traditional photographers is that our studio is never in the same place twice. Some subjects are at home surrounded by flowers while others are more comfortable against the graffiti-enhanced wall of an urban building. Catering to each subjects’ personality, our studio moves with you. The only requirement is natural light!

Our sessions are as different as the person we’re shooting, but the common thread among all is a comfortable relationship between your photographer and you, resulting in a session that is casual, candid and often unexpected.

There are no posed or scripted shots; this means that as you become less aware of the camera the photographer is able to capture more of you in your element; your real smile, the way your eyes crinkle when you laugh and how you look when you’re thinking about something that makes you happy.

While you are simply being you, we might capture a charming smile, an action shot or a moment of surprise. It’s often when we least expect it that the perfect photo happens.
