We’ve all heard the “love is patient, love is kind” poem. Did you know it is a bible verse?
The saying comes from 1 Corinthians 13: 4-7. Paul, one of Christ’s disciples, recognized that the people of Corinth needed guidance on what love really was… A kind of unselfish behavior that expects and wants absolutely nothing in return. Here are his words from approximately 55 A.D. …
“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.” Rebecca Lynch

“What is desirable in a man is his kindness.” (Proverbs 19:22)
With all of our many differences and all of our many similarities, one thing is certain, my love for you will never fail and it will always endure, because you are selfless and kind. Rebecca Lynch

Selfless, Innocent but Ever Enduring Love
We all need someone to care for us. To say, “I’m with you no matter what.” “I’ve got your back.” “I will love you until the time ends.” “I will be with you through it all.” “I will love you beyond what you can imagine.” “I will love you like no one else does.” And, really, isn’t that all that matters?
